If you were to try to define what exactly it is Diamond Rollins does, it would be nearly impossible, because she sort of does a little bit of everything. Content creator (check out her 'gram) model (you know you saw her in our English Garden Collection), YouTuber, writer...she's the ultimate multi-hyphenate. And one thing we left off that list: positivity spreader. Diamond is always inspirational (even when talking about something as seemingly inconsequential as a hand cream), and her content leaves you feeling better than you did before you saw it. That's something we could all use a little bit more of. Here, she shares what's next to her bed.
What side of the bed do you sleep on?
I usually sleep on the right side of the bed but many times end up on the left, too, because I am quite the wild sleeper! I just move around a lot. Sometimes I wake up sore and I think to myself "was I fighting myself in my sleep or something?"
What can you not sleep without?
I really can't sleep without a scarf on my head and an extra layer of cover. I would feel incomplete in my sleep without these. I usually use a generic scarf to sleep in but I do love wearing some of my favorite scarves from Mango.
What is currently next to your bed?
I currently have a side table to the right of me and a clothing rack to my left. [On my side table], I have a cute little lamp, mini candle, film photo, a flower, hand sanitizer, two sets of lotions (I am a dry little thing), and my calming oil.
What is the strangest thing that's next to your bed?
I wouldn't say it is strange, but I do keep a stress release natural oil by Saje Wellness next to my bed and I sprinkle it over my pillows. I swear I have the best sleep with it.
What would you not be able to sleep without being next to your bed?
My lotions! Sometimes I get so dry that my body quite literally screams for moisture and I love having my lotions easily accessible.
Do you keep any electronics next to your bed?
I usually just keep my phone and air pods next to my bed. I usually fall asleep looking at my phone, but I when I wake up before getting on any socials, I actually just breathe, thank God for a new day and enjoy the morning calmness before jumping straight in. This has helped me start my day calmer and has made my mornings slower and more enjoyable.
What is your nighttime routine in 5 steps or less?
I take a soothing shower and I lotion from up, (sometimes I add a body oil). I use my facial serums and moisturizer and I relax and read my nightly devotional. Then, I spend the rest of the night giggling on the phone with my boyfriend.
