Hill House has some great sets and this is no exception. This top is true to size and has darling contrast smocking that makes it different from other tops they’ve done.

The pattern is hard to see online, but the circles actually have little rosettes throughout. The detail makes the pattern have more depth and interest in real life.

I’d like to see it styled with jeans or pants - I think it can stand on its own without the skirt too.

The fit is similar to a Louisa or a scarlet. I sized up to my street size because I found that the bottom was flaring out if the smocking was pulled too tightly at the bottom. The little string is functional and gives you some control over fit.
