This was a part of my first order from Hill House. I am a very petite, flat-chested person so it is generally very difficult for me to find dresses that fit me right both up top and in length. I checked the size chart over and over, then read all the reviews on multiple types of dresses and finally went with the XXXS (I don't see it on the selection option but that's definitely the size I got).

The smocked torso part of the dress ended up being quite tight to a point where I cannot wear a padded tank top underneath -- this was a huge shocker for me as I have almost never encountered dresses (in adult sizes) that is TOO TIGHT on me. Insane! The length was perfect -- not too short, not too long -- so I can walk in it without being worried I was going to trip on it while going up stairs. Given the tightness in the torso, I really should've ordered an XXS and will definitely do that for this type of design from HH going forward. I think I can still manage to wear this as long as I wear a thin bralette + don't plan on eating a feast.

I love how the dress feels very flowy and soft and the ribbons on the shoulders are very voluminous without being too dramatic. The light blue color and shell pattern is very subtle, summery, and perfect for sunny days. I can't wait for the weather to get warmer so I can flounce around in this dress!!
