I have this skirt in two colors and wear it to work all the time with sweaters (either oversized or fitted and tucked in) and button downs. I was nervous about the smocked waist highlighting my tummy but it’s actually SO flattering. I’m 5’6 and my legs are long for my frame; I’d say it falls a bit lower than the Ellie on me, but only slightly. I wear my Ellie size.

I really wanted to love this skirt and I had hoped it would be the skirt version of my beloved Ellie nap dress. But sadly it was very ill-fitting and not flattering. Unlike the Ellie, there are no tiers to this skirt, so it's just a big wide rectangle. And the lining makes it extra thick and frumpy. I wear a M in Ellie and got a M in this skirt but it was much longer and would have needed to be tailored on me (I am 5'5"). I wish you all would make a skirt version of the Ellie that is unlined and tiered!

Skirt is very very full. Couldn’t seee myself wearing this to work or for more casual outfits
