I originally went into the store to buy the Margot dress (still on my wishlist!), but the Delphine skirt completely surprised me. It’s that rare piece that feels casual enough for everyday errands but still looks put-together, feminine, and girly. I bought the Apple Green print with the matching smocked top, but it also looks adorable with a fitted white tee and sneakers. So many ways to wear it. I chose this set because….girl math. Cost per wear is very low!
Long skirts can be tricky—either they hide your shape or hug too much. This one hits the sweet spot. The cotton is insanely breathable, like you’re wearing nothing, which makes it perfect for Texas heat. I already know it’ll be a summer staple.
Even my friends voted for this one when I was trying on a few different looks. I love a beautiful dress, but sometimes you just want the elevated version of sweatpants—easy, cute, and comfortable. That’s exactly what the Delphine skirt gives.
My only wish? Pockets. One of my favorite things about Hill House is how many of their pieces have pockets, and I’m a little bummed this one doesn’t. It’s a small miss on an otherwise amazing skirt, especially when I expect thoughtful details at this price point.
Skirt is true to size - zero tightness/pinching at the waist, lays flat and smooth. This skirt sells out fast, so if you’re between options go with this first! Length is perfect for me at 5’6, not a maxi but doesn’t hit mid calf (my least favorite cut),
