The Isabel Nap Dress

I wanted to like this dress on me, I really did. It’s so cute and the pattern is lovely. That all being said, the straps and bodice are not up to the task of contending with my 36 G/H chest, unfortunately. The thinness of the straps made adjustments immediately slide away and the bodice, while tight, didn’t offer much in the way of support. The silhouette also wasn’t especially flattering to a curvier shape. And especially with a larger chest, the silhouette turns into something a little closer to an empire waist than anything else. I am returning this one. Would love it if HH took curvier girls or even just girls with curves, period, into account in their designing. It’s so hard to find cute clothes that aren’t matronly when you’re in your 20s and have a bigger chest.
