Hill House dresses feel like some of the most flattering articles of clothing and then to layer the unique cuts and stunning colors/ patterns it’s criminal to my wallet. The only downside to a lot of these dresses is that many don’t appear bustier person friendly, this dress included. I ordered this instinctually knowing it would not fit my chest, but given the Matilda is my favorite dress cut in the world and the pattern of this is amazing I rendered myself remiss if I didn’t try. So I ordered it. Put it on and it fits beautifully, except for the straps which are entirely elastic. For the life of me I don’t know why any supportive straps would ever be made elastic. Instead of sending it back, I took it to the local tailor who replaced the elastic straps with standard ones. It was perfect for a fall wedding. I would say if you can swing the price try it, but be aware that if you’re chestier you might not fit or will need to get the straps replaced.
